DNA Challenged in Amanda Knox Trial

Italian
Translation

Here is a video from NBC where Edda Mellas, the mother of Amanda Knox, is interviewed. For those unfamiliar with this case, Edda Mellas refers to two "tacky reporters". Ironically, the two reporters are Nick Pisa (who writes for numerous different publications) and Barbie Nadeau (Newsweek and the Daily Beast) who are shown in this segment before Mellas is interviewed.

Nadeau, who frequently attends this trial stated that it was clear that the prosecution withheld evidence about the bra strap that has Raffaelle Solicetto's DNA on it. She stated that this would be very damaging in the eyes of the jury and that it would be grounds for appeal if the two are convicted.

Personally, I wonder if the juror's even noticed any of this---they have been known to fall asleep during testimony.

I know, it's shocking to me too. Who would have thought with such a strong case that the prosecution would need to withhold evidence?

Court will not convene again until September when the ridiculous case against Amanda Knox and Raffaelle Solicetto continues.
